• MeM Project – Italy

MeM Project is an Italian collective of professionals specialized in regenerative design, environmental psychology, and inclusive spatial strategies. The group brings together experts from architecture, education, psychology, and social innovation to co-create spaces that foster well-being, dignity, and personal growth, especially for vulnerable and marginalized populations.

MeM works closely with institutions, cooperatives, and public or private organizations to provide training programs, research initiatives, and evidence-based consultancy focused on improving the quality of living and working environments. The project places a strong emphasis on accessibility, multisensory engagement, and emotional safety, aiming to make complex design principles available to non-experts through clear, participatory, and practical tools.

Key activities include training educators and support staff on inclusive design approaches, developing tools for space analysis and user observation, and contributing to European research initiatives. MeM also supports the transformation of shelters, schools, and community facilities into environments that are not only functional, but also emotionally restorative and socially empowering.

Rooted in scientific knowledge and guided by a human-centered ethos, MeM Project contributes to building a culture of care through design, where every person – regardless of their condition – can experience safety, beauty, and belonging in the spaces they inhabit.
